Our Board of Directors: Nancy Blair
Nancy Blair is a consultant with MLH Holidngs Ltd and advises clients in the areas of human capital, succession planning, leadership development, organizational development and strategy. She is formerly the office leader of Egon Zehnder International, the world's leading global executive search firm with additional practice areas in management appraisal and corporate governance. Nancy consults with clients across multiple industries to help them access the global talent pool for senior executives and Board-level hiring.
Nancy also sits on the Board of Directors of The Antioch Company, a global $US400 Million consumer goods company based in Minnesota. Its largest business unit is Creative Memories - a direct seller of photo-albums and scrapbooking accessories. As Chair of the Audit Committee and Vice-Chair of the Board, Nancy is passionate about the importance and value of corporate governance for this employee-owned company.
Nancy also owns a business based in Canmore - Positive People Placement Inc.. PPP is the leading employment services organization in the Bow Valley. It helps businesses in the growing construction and hospitality industries with their recruitment strategies.
Prior to returning to Calgary to open Egon Zehnder's Calgary office, Nancy began her career at the Royal Bank of Canada in commercial banking. She then had a highly successful tenure at McKinsey & Company in Toronto and Chicago as a management strategy consultant. Her main areas of focus were strategy and growth for companies in the consumer packaged goods and financial services industries. She then joined The Antioch Company, in the senior strategy role in the company. She was responsible for helping the company convert to a 100% Employee-Owned company and pursue its international growth strategy.
Nancy has an HBA from The University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
