About Our Team:
Chris Godwaldt, P.Eng, MBA
Chris Godwaldt joined Alberta WaterSMART in April 2006, as the Water Management Program Director, and is based in our Calgary office.
Chris' education includes a B. Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta, a Masters of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business, program studies at the Shanghai Institute of Finance and Economics, and the Pan American Institute for High Business Direction in Mexico.
His engineering expertise includes a complete range of industrial, commercial and residential products and services, across most water and wastewater treatment applications. Chris has a broad base of experience relating to water and wastewater treatment applications and has worked around the globe in technical, marketing and managerial capacities on projects ranging from individual consulting contracts through to multi-billion dollar projects. He has hands-on experience both designing, engineering and managing water and wastewater treatment systems operating in regions across North America, the Middle East, and South East Asia. Chris is fluent in several languages including Spanish and French.
Chris continues to be actively involved in the development and commercialization of several new water treatment technologies, including oil sands water technology and processes.
