The Alberta Women's Science Network announces that the recipient of the 2008 Minerva Mentoring Award is Dr. Josephine Hill, Associate Professor and the Zandmer/Canada Research Chair in Hydrogen and Catalysis in the Schulich School of Engineering . Dr Faye Hicks, Professor of Civil Engineering, University of Alberta and Mrs. Jacque Martin, B.Sc. retired Calgary Board of Education Junior High Science teacher are also mentors being honoured by the Alberta Women's Science Network.
On behalf of the honourees, AWSN has made a donation to WaterSMART. A donation to WaterSMART has also been made on behalf of Dr. Helen Madill, 2007 Minerva Mentoring Award recipient
